PwC Deals: US Technology Deals Insights Q2 2016 - Total Deal Values Flat, Total Transactions Down 19

In Q2 2016, tech M&A total value was down 3%, but total deal numbers fell 19% from Q2 2015, according to PwC Deals: US Technology Deals Insights Q2 2016. Tech M&A value was bolstered by several "megadeals" in Q2 2016 like Microsoft's $26.6B purchase of LinkedIn, CSC's $8.5B acquisition of HPE's enterprise business and Symantec's $4.7B purchase of BlueCoast Systems.
